Rare pair of ceramic grotesque dog and cat figurines. They are glazed in green and have a coppery under glaze inside the heads. 8 1/2" high and 5" wide.

They are fairly large and make great decorations. They are in very good condition, there are a few small glaze misses, some rubbing on the ears, flakes on eye area, nothing major, no cracks, no restorations, pretty amazing for their age. Looks to be early to mid 20th century. I have searched and searched and cannot find anything like them anywhere.
