VINTAGE Antique RARE West German Pumpkin Candy Container HANDPAINTED

  

This is a rare vintage Halloween candy container with a unique design of a cute pumpkin man. The container is made of papermache or cardboard of some sort and hand-painted, making it rare and valuable. It is made in Western Germany as marked internally on the bottom side of this sweet pumpkin candy holder. There are some condition issues, all in all this little pumpkin held up GREAT considering its potential age!! There is an indentation on the back of this lil' pumpkin which MAY HAVE occurred when an excited child (or adult) squeezed the pumpkin trying to open for the candy!

There is some staining on the inside of the bottom container and a mark on lower under side of the pumpkin by its left foot, all POSSIBLY occurring from the candy it held! There is a little spot on the left side of the pumpkin that looks like it MAY HAVE occurred when it was originally created. Unfortunately I don't know how the condition issues occured but I have taken pictures to show you what I see. Please see pictures for best details, dimensions and description!
