Vintage Halloween Siren Horn Screech Owl Cardboard Noisemaker Germany 1930s RARE

  

This rarely seen 1930s paper-litho-over-cardboard horn has a fabulous design that's spirited and vibrant. The metal mouthpiece reads: Germany. This noisemaker is a rare survivor for nearly 90 years! A spooky screech owl flies right at you on the front. A smaller screech owl swoops above past a smiling crescent moon.

Two more screech owls fly around to the back. This great piece measures 7" tall and about 3" across the wide end of the horn. The orange and black colors are bright. The mouthpiece is firmly attached. Minor paper loss along the bottom right front, as shown in my photos.

Minor rubbing and paper cracking on the top near the mouthpiece. Some darkening of the paper. The siren is slightly finicky but works when you blow into it, making a whistling noisethe screech owl!

I think that with a little more use, the siren. Might free up and work consistently. Please view all photos and feel free to ask questions. I will be glad to reply. Don't let this scarce vintage Halloween survivor fly away!
